The easiest train station to get to is Oxenholme in Kendal. There is a direct train from London Euston which takes just over 3 hours. Silverholme is then a 30 minute taxi ride. We chose this area of the Lakes for its accessibility by car or train. The train is particularly convenient as it allows you to work or relax during your travel. It’s also an exceptionally beautiful journey.
If you are joining us from outside the UK. The easiest airports to fly into would be Manchester or Leeds Bradford. Silverholme is then a 2 hour transfer by car.
